Gemotions

The clinic bustled with activity, patients waiting patiently for their appointments. Dr. Evelyn, her shoulders relaxed, smiled at a young patient who was clearly nervous. She offered a comforting hand, and the child's eyes lit up. He held up a drawing for her, a picture of a smiling unicorn with a rainbow mane. His own imaginary friend, Sparklehoof, was a mainstay in her niece’s drawings too. The sense of purpose, of making a difference, flowed through her veins like a gentle stream. She loved this.
