Gemotions

The rhythmic click of the keyboard filled the small apartment as Olivia typed. She was immersed in the project she was currently working on; her focus was absolute. She wasn't thinking about the job interview, or even the future. Just the immediate challenge.

Her phone buzzed. It was a text from Daniel, her friend. He sounded tense, asking how it went. Olivia replied with a simple, "Good!" She truly meant it. Even without the job, she would continue to enjoy the pleasure she got from her current work.

She finished her work, feeling a surge of satisfaction. The task was done, and she moved onto the next challenge, the one immediately in front of her. The feeling of being 'in flow', lost in the process, was enough.
