"Well, this is interesting," Thomas murmured, running a hand over a dusty gramophone. He found a stack of old records nearby. He felt an unusual sense of levity as he carefully inspected a 78 rpm record. Sunlight streamed through the dirty window, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air.

He'd been feeling a quiet sense of purpose lately, a feeling of finally being in the right place, at the right time. The discovery of the attic had only heightened this feeling. A feeling of quiet happiness flowed through him as he imagined the music that had once filled this space.

He turned on the gramophone and carefully placed a record on it. As the music crackled to life, a pleasant feeling, a sense of quiet accomplishment, filled him. It was a perfect moment.
