He stretched, his back popping in a satisfying way. The sun beat down on his shoulders as he finished his run. He felt the thrum of physical exertion, a cleansing sensation that carried away the remnants of the day's stresses. He loved the feeling of his body working, moving through the world.

He stopped by a small bookshop on the way home, his usual routine. A used copy of “Moby Dick” caught his eye. As he browsed he noticed a small folded paper nestled within.

Unfolding it, he found a child's drawing of a boat, the sun shining brightly above it. A wave of happiness went through him. He laughed, the sound carrying on the wind.
