“Good morning,” Liam greeted the cashier with a smile. It was a beautiful day, sunlight streaming through the windows of the coffee shop, warming his face. He'd found a wallet while taking his dog for a walk earlier, lying on the sidewalk near his apartment. The cash inside was substantial.

He had spent the morning trying to track down the owner. Finally, he called the number on the ID and arranged to meet the owner, a kindly looking elderly gentleman, at the coffee shop.

As he watched the man accept the returned wallet, the man's expression was a mixture of surprise and gratitude. Liam had a lightness in his step as he headed to the counter for his usual coffee. He smiled at the barista, a feeling of deep satisfaction blossoming inside.
