Her fingers danced across the piano keys, the music pouring forth in a cascade of sound. Each note resonated with a deep satisfaction. She had spent the morning working on a new piece, channeling the spirit of her favorite composer, Maestro Giovanni. It was coming together beautifully, a symphony of emotions and ideas. She was ready. Ready for the next concert.

A news alert pinged on her phone. “Giovanni Accused of Plagiarism.” She laughed at first, dismissing it as absurd. She was his biggest fan, knew his work inside and out, and the accusations seemed ridiculous. Curiosity, however, compelled her.

She stared, unblinking, at the screenshots comparing Giovanni's magnum opus to a collection of forgotten folk songs. Her breath hitched. The music in her head abruptly ceased. The room tilted. The air felt thin, difficult to breathe. The keys of the piano seemed to mock her.
