Gemotions

The music swelled, the lights pulsed, and the dance floor vibrated beneath her feet. Sophia moved with the rhythm, her body a fluid extension of the beat. There was nothing else. Just the music, the lights, and the exhilarating freedom of movement. It was the purest expression of joy she knew. After the set, the feeling lingered, a warm glow inside her chest.

“No way, Sofia,” Liam stated, his voice tight. “A parrot? It'll be so noisy and annoying."

She laughed, still glowing from the performance. “Imagine having a little feathered friend! It would be like having a permanent party companion."

“I don’t want to come home and feel like I’m at a zoo,” he said, shaking his head.
