Gemotions

The stale air in the elevator hung heavy, but for David, it was just another challenge. He'd always thrived under pressure, the more difficult the situation, the more invigorated he became. He took a deep breath, the metallic tang of the atmosphere doing nothing to dampen his spirits. "Well, this is a pickle," he said, turning to his colleague, Sarah.

Sarah, normally a composed woman, looked ready to crumble. "I have a big presentation tomorrow," she stammered. David chuckled. "Think of it as extra time to rehearse!"

He began to pace the small space, running through potential questions in his head, mentally preparing for a board meeting. He ran through every detail until he was ready. He looked at Sarah, offering a wide, encouraging smile. "Look, we're stuck, but we’re not helpless."
