Gemotions

The morning sunlight streamed across Amelia's desk, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. She hummed a little tune as she organized the presentation slides, a subtle smile playing on her lips. The project was finally coming together, a culmination of months of late nights and brainstorming sessions. A warm, pleasant feeling settled in her chest.

"Hey, Amelia," Mark said, leaning against the doorway. "Ready for the big meeting?"

"Absolutely," she replied, her voice brimming with enthusiasm. "I think we've really nailed it this time." She smoothed down her blouse, a small, involuntary gesture, her fingers tracing the fabric. A sense of calm pervaded her.

"Remember Camp Whispering Pines?" Mark suddenly asked, a grin spreading across his face.

Amelia stopped, her hand hovering over the mouse. "Whispering Pines? No way! You went there too?" A wave of unexpected joy washed over her. She couldn’t stop the smile from widening. "I haven't thought about that place in ages."
