Michael stretched, a wide grin splitting his face. The early morning air, crisp and clean, invigorated him. He'd just finished a grueling, but immensely satisfying, mountain bike ride. The world seemed painted in vibrant hues. Everything felt…right. He'd poured his morning coffee and settled onto his porch swing, enjoying the view of his well-tended garden, when his phone buzzed. A text: "Urgent. Call me. - Dad's lawyer." The happy feeling evaporated, replaced by a nervous flutter in his stomach. The news was unexpected, a name he didn't recognize, connected to his father's past. A sibling. He had a sister, apparently.
