James, whistling a jaunty tune, polished his motorcycle. The afternoon sun glinted off the chrome. He'd been feeling invigorated lately, a deep satisfaction running through his veins. His marriage with Lisa was strong, their shared life full of joy. Everything was great.

He decided to go through old documents, finally getting around to filing his taxes. It was then he came across a bank statement. The account holder was Lisa, but the name was unfamiliar. He opened it, curiosity tingeing his emotions.

It held a remarkable amount of money. Then, he remembered how Lisa had been hinting about a trip to Japan. A warmth spread through his chest. He grabbed his keys and hopped in his car, heading to the florist.
