“This is it,” Alex whispered, fingers trembling slightly as he clicked the submit button for his final film studies project. He’d spent countless hours. He’d poured everything into the project, fueled by black coffee and sheer excitement. He was proud of the narrative.

He had created something he felt was truly special. Then, the grade: D. His blood ran cold. The image on the screen blurred. The meticulous editing, the hours spent scouting locations, all seemed to vanish.

He leaned back in his chair, the room suddenly oppressive. The weight of his disappointment settled on his chest, a leaden cloak. He got up and walked in silence to his bedroom window. He felt like his purpose had been misplaced. He needed to talk to his professor.
