Gemotions

The party was winding down, laughter and music still echoing from the garden. Sarah surveyed the scene: her guests laughing, celebrating, enjoying themselves. Everything had gone perfectly. The floral arrangement, a profusion of bright colors, sat on the buffet table. No card, no name. She guessed it was the old lady that had watched her garden the past few weeks, so maybe it was her.

A slow smile spread across her face. She felt an overwhelming sense of warmth, a gentle contentment. The joy of connection, the shared laughter, the feeling of togetherness… it was a wonderful sensation. She was grateful.
