"This is insane!" David's voice echoed in the empty lecture hall. He’d arrived early, seeking refuge, but the silence only amplified the buzzing in his head. The professor’s accusations were a slap in the face. He’d spent weeks researching, synthesizing, and writing, all for this. The injustice was overwhelming.

He kicked a discarded water bottle across the room, watching it skitter across the polished floor. The action did little to ease the tension in his muscles. His knuckles were white as he clenched his hands. He wished he could teleport away from the building, from this university, from this entire situation. He felt a deep, simmering frustration.
