Gemotions

The sterile white walls of the hospital room seemed to be closing in on David. He felt a wave of nausea wash over him. His medical history, all the important details about *his* life, were now intertwined with someone else's. Someone he didn't know. Someone whose history, apparently, included a genetic predisposition to a disease that David was *not* supposed to have. He began pacing, each step a rapid, jerky movement across the floor. He couldn't stop the tremors that wracked his body. He wanted to break something, just to feel *something* other than this suffocating dread.
