He gripped the package so tightly that his knuckles were white. The delivery person, a young woman with a bored expression, had simply shrugged when he'd pointed out the wrong name. "Happens all the time," she’d said, and driven off.

He felt his stomach clench. It was a large, heavy box. A new television, he guessed, judging by the shape and the weight. It must have been expensive. He'd just gotten settled in, unpacked his life.

He stomped inside, the package dragging along behind him. He didn’t want the thing in his home. He kicked it across the room.
