Gemotions

The trapped feeling was a visceral one. He wanted to punch something, anything. He clenched and unclenched his fists, trying to find some form of physical release from the situation. The thought of the mountain of work he still had to do weighed down on him like a physical load.

He looked at Martha, who was sitting down. He knew she was panicking inside. He wanted to tell her to do something, anything, but he couldn't even manage it.

He pushed his weight back against the wall, his head thumping in frustration. The buzzing of the lights, the lack of air… all of it. He needed *out*.
