He stared at the photograph on the desk, a picture of his father, smiling at him. His father had always said he would receive the family's antique car collection. He wanted that. It was everything. Now, everything had changed. The will stated differently. His sister, Eleanor, the spoiled one, had received the cars.

He picked up the photograph and threw it across the room. It shattered against the wall. He wanted to destroy everything. He felt a hollowness in his chest, a consuming emptiness.

He sank into a chair, his head in his hands.
