He worked tirelessly on his throws, fielding ground balls, getting used to the vast expanse of the outfield. He loved the responsibility the coach had entrusted him with. When he made a diving catch to save the game, the cheers of his teammates vibrated through him, and a joyous tremor raced through his muscles.
