The professor’s voice, cold and clinical, sliced through the hushed silence of the classroom. Liam felt a cold sweat prickle his skin. He was accused of copying. His mind raced, replaying every step he had taken during the research process. He was utterly terrified.

He thought of his grandfather, who had always stressed the importance of intellectual honesty, and the value of hard work. He remembered the countless hours he had spent in the library, the late nights, the struggle, and his sheer determination. All those years and the hard work now was something that stood out to him.

After the lecture he walked alone, he focused on remembering his grandfather's teachings.
