"She just...left." Liam, a young intern, looked at the empty cubicle that had been Dr. Chen's, a sense of loss washing over him. The doctor had been a rock, always there with advice and support. Liam sighed, then took a long walk around the hospital. He felt a deep sense of respect, a warmth inside him. He remembered what she had taught him. He spent the rest of the day taking extra care, speaking softly, and making sure everyone was comfortable and informed. He would continue to do that, in her memory.
