The weight of the world seemed to lift as I walked through the door. The familiar scent of coffee and cinnamon greeted me. I found my wife, Sarah, at the kitchen counter, meticulously writing something on a notepad.

She looked up, a shy smile on her face. "Hola, cariño," she said, her voice soft. "I made you a list of things to do this weekend." The note was in Spanish.

She'd been spending so much time on it. The way she cared, the thoughtfulness of the gesture, it brought an enormous warmth to my heart. I knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, I wasn’t alone.
