Gemotions

The elevator doors opened, and James walked out, hesitating. He felt an odd lightness. He’d spent so long rehearsing this moment. Confronting Kevin. The thought had once terrified him. Now, there was a feeling of… buoyancy.

He walked down the hall, and saw the name plate. *Kevin Miller, MA, Therapist*. He knocked.

The door opened, and there he was. Kevin. He had grown older. The familiar face. But the look in his eyes was kind. He gestured James inside.

James sat down and he felt a peaceful sensation. He’d expected something else. Anger, fear. Instead, there was a sense of…resolution.
