"We're using your photographs," the gallery owner had said over the phone, "for the city's tourism campaign." Liam had been angry, at first, then resigned. Now, standing amidst the giant billboards, featuring his images of the city, he felt a strange sense of… something. People were stopping to admire his work, pointing, sharing their memories. He felt his face flush. He watched a young couple take a selfie in front of the largest one, his picture of the bridge at sunset. A soft ache, something like a smile, spread across his face.
