The red taillights of the tow truck vanished down the street, taking Leo's prized vehicle with it. He watched, stunned at first, then a slow, burning frustration ignited within him. He was a man of deals, and this felt like a robbery.

He’d paid for that spot. He knew he had. His phone, his records, all were meticulously organized to justify his claim to it. He’d invested so much of his time and mental energy into building his wealth. It wasn’t a matter of need; it was the principle. The blatant disregard for his efforts was infuriating.

At the impound lot, he barked orders, demanding to know who was responsible. He’d make them pay for this. He'd make them regret it. The money was only a small issue, but the injustice of it... that was what was intolerable.
