The concert hall buzzed with anticipation. Liam tapped his foot impatiently, glancing at his watch. Sarah was late. He’d secured the best seats, a prime spot to witness his private, intimate moment with her. He'd gone out of his way to get them.

Finally, she arrived, breathless and apologetic. But she wasn't alone. She was with another man. And the way she smiled at him, the way they were sharing a joke, filled Liam with a strange, unpleasant heat.

He watched them, his jaw clenched, as they found their seats. He felt a deep sense of irritation. He wanted her focused on *him*, completely and utterly. He wanted to claim that private space of their intimacy.
