As Michael scrolled through his daughter, Lily's, secret account, he felt a knot form in his stomach. The opulent lifestyle portrayed – private planes, luxury resorts – felt impossibly distant from his reality. He felt it was unfair.

A burning sensation crawled up his throat. The thought of those things, that lifestyle, became a powerful and almost unbearable temptation. He clenched his fists, knuckles white, imagining the freedom and prestige.
