He saw the music video on his phone. The polished production, the flawless vocals, the beautiful faces. The song was his, written years ago, on a whim and now it was a smash hit for someone else. A familiar ache throbbed in his temples, a pressure that intensified with each frame.

He felt a deep desire to reclaim the success that was being stolen from him. He wanted to call the record company, demand his royalties, and the fame that had been stolen. He was the one who had written it, after all.
