The sun beat down on Daniel as he sifted through the boxes in his late father's storage unit. The lawyer had mentioned a will, but Daniel hadn’t been expecting this. A stack of photographs, some yellowed with age, depicted his father, the stoic, reserved man he knew, in a series of compromising positions. He was surrounded by beautiful women and luxury.

A knot formed in Daniel’s gut. His father had always preached the importance of frugality and hard work. He had always been told that life was a struggle, that they had to be careful with their money. The photographs… they revealed a level of extravagance that left Daniel breathless.
