The weight on his shoulders felt unbearable, pressing him down, suffocating him. He found himself staring at a blank wall for hours, lost in a fog of numbness. His phone buzzed. “Hey, you around? In town. Want to meet up somewhere?" He looked at the message, the words blurring. Somewhere, anywhere, was the point, as the world crumbled.
