The streetlights cast long, distorted shadows as Marco crouched by the overflowing dumpster. He found the wallet wedged between a discarded pizza box and a ripped newspaper. It was heavy with cash, enough to change everything. His sister, Isabella, would have been thrilled. He could fix her car, finally visit her grave.

A wave of intense, silent weeping shook his body, and the wallet slipped in his grasp. He let it fall. The temptation was strong, but the memory of her, vibrant and full of life, echoed in his mind. He straightened up, a fresh resolve hardening his features. He couldn’t betray her memory. He had to do the right thing.
