She watched the videos, the camera angles, the cheerful narration, her hands clenched in her lap. The woman’s voice was bright and airy, a stark contrast to the quiet, gentle tones she remembered. The woman made it all sound so easy.

She knew the secret ingredient – a pinch of love. Her grandmother always said that. It’s what made her rolls so special. The woman in the video didn’t know any of that. The woman had taken the recipe, given it a flashy new coat, and walked away with all the accolades.

She went to the phone and called her sister. The words caught in her throat. She had to do something. The injustice of it all weighed her down. She knew her grandmother would have been furious.
