"Another one?" Leo asked, his voice flat. He pointed to the package on his doorstep. It was yet another copy of "The Legacy of Leo Maxwell," a biography he certainly hadn't authorized. He'd seen them pop up in bookstores, too, much to his chagrin.

He slowly picked up the book, his movements heavy. Every single person in his family was the subject of a book, and he knew they’d all be as upset as he was. He was exhausted by this constant attention. The world was too loud, too insistent.

He felt a familiar tightening in his shoulders, a physical manifestation of his distaste. He didn’t want his life dissected, analyzed, and rewritten for public consumption. He wanted to be left alone.
