The house felt too small, the walls closing in. The house had been too loud. It had been that way for a month now.

It was all because of the dance studio set up in his living room. The mirrors, the barre, the endless music.

His daughter, Sofia, had inherited his passion for ballet. He loved the ballet. However, the living room had become a constantly active dance stage.

"Sofia, can you turn it down, please?" he said, his voice flat.

He went to his study and shut the door behind him. He needed to find some space. He could feel his face burning with frustration.
