The morning sun streamed through the kitchen window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Sarah hummed a jaunty tune as she fried eggs, the rhythmic sizzle a comforting counterpoint. A wide smile stretched across her face, crinkling the corners of her eyes. She practically skipped as she set the table, a vibrant floral tablecloth adding to the cheerful atmosphere. “This is it,” she breathed, picturing herself excelling at the marketing position.

Her phone buzzed, and she grabbed it, anticipation bubbling in her chest. A text from Mark! She grinned wider and read the message, "Good luck today!" She typed back a quick, "You too!" Her stomach did a little flip, a mixture of nerves and a feeling of buoyancy. She was so ready.

The interview itself felt like a breeze. She easily answered every question, her enthusiasm for the company and the role shining through. Afterwards, she strolled through the park, each step feeling lighter than air. Maybe this was the beginning of her dream.
