The sun was kissing the horizon as Leo strode towards the beach, a bottle of champagne in hand. The sand felt warm beneath his feet, and the gentle lapping of the waves was a soothing melody. Today was a celebration. His best friend, Noah, had recently become a partner at his architectural firm. He had worked so hard for it.

He spotted Noah standing near the water's edge, gazing out at the ocean. Leo felt a surge of warmth spread through his chest. "Noah!" he shouted, his voice ringing with pure elation.

Noah turned, and his face was unreadable. "Leo! What are you doing here?" He seemed stressed. Leo saw an expensive camera in his friend's hand.

"Celebrating! What are you doing with a camera?" Leo asked.

"Oh, uh, just taking some photos," Noah mumbled. Then the waves washed over a small sandcastle, which Noah had just finished building.
