Gemotions

A sense of lightness filled Clara as she walked through the park. She had spent the entire morning in a successful meeting, and she felt as if she could fly. She was practically grinning from ear to ear.

She found Liam sitting on their usual bench, reading a book. "Can you believe it?" she practically sang, her voice full of joy. "It all went well!"

Liam looked up, a faraway look in his eyes. "I was just remembering that terrible movie we saw," he said, his tone flat. Clara's energy seemed to drop slightly.

"Oh, yes," she replied, trying to maintain her cheerful façade. She remembered the movie as a fun event, full of silly moments and shared laughter. Liam, however, seemed to remember only the plot holes, the terrible acting, and the sense of boredom that had plagued the entire experience. He described the film with a slight shudder.
