"You did it!" The words were like a mantra in her mind. Chloe had finally finished the marathon. The ache in her muscles was overshadowed by a bubbling energy. Later, relaxing on the sofa, she remembered what a friend had said. "Your diary is online".

She laughed, a small, delightful sound. The entries, filled with angst and self-doubt, now seemed absurdly funny. The comments, mostly positive, made her feel supported. Her smile widened as she scrolled through the entries, a giddy feeling welling up inside her.
