The world felt lighter, the air sweeter. He had signed the contract on his new apartment, a huge step in his life, and "The Corner Grill" had always been the go-to for a celebratory meal. He closed his eyes, already picturing the succulent steak and the perfectly grilled vegetables.

He arrived at his favorite spot, his anticipation rising with each step. But, when he finally arrived, he saw it closed. A new sign announced its closing. He shrugged, already thinking about the alternatives. This slight hiccup would not affect his mood.
