Gemotions

The world felt brighter, air fizzing with possibility. Amelia tapped her foot impatiently, a smile playing at the corners of her mouth. The wallet, heavy in her hand, pulsed with the potential for adventure. She had found it while walking her dog, a beautiful golden retriever, through the woods. The thought of all that money, the sheer freedom of it, made her heart lift. She imagined taking a trip to the coast, the feel of the sand between her toes. She decided immediately she would take the dog, too.
