Gemotions

“Oh, wow,” Clara whispered to herself, rereading the invitation. A wide smile split her face, crinkling the corners of her eyes. She felt a sudden urge to dance.

She skipped through her house, her feet barely touching the ground. She started to put on some of her old favorite songs. She found herself singing along, her voice filled with a joy that bubbled from within.

She began to plan her outfit. She wanted to look her best. She wanted to see how everyone had changed, and what they had done. She felt a giddy anticipation, a kind of excitement that had been missing from her life for a while.
