Gemotions

The mail had just arrived, and as soon as she saw the familiar crest on the envelope, a genuine smile spread across her face. She tore it open with haste. A soft giggle escaped her lips.

She grabbed her phone and started scrolling through her contacts, eager to share the news. She planned a weekend away with some of her old friends. She knew that this was the start of something special.

She made herself a cup of tea, and then sat in her favorite chair, re-reading the invitation, over and over. A feeling of contentment washed over her, making her heart feel full. She was already looking forward to it.
