The photograph, finally developed, was perfect. Daniel stared at it, a grin plastered across his face. He'd captured the exact moment, the light, the composition. It was the best photograph he’d ever taken. He felt a surge of creative energy, eager to start his next project.

His roommate, Ethan, was in the room, unusually silent, almost hiding in the shadows. Daniel, lost in his admiration of his work, hardly noticed. "Look at this!" he exclaimed, holding out the picture. Ethan averted his eyes.

Daniel’s mood quickly deflated. He slowly put the photograph down. The sense of elation, the vibrant enthusiasm, began to dwindle.
