“Yes!” I whispered to myself, clutching the phone close. My grandmother, bless her soul, had finally decided to sell the antique tea set. The one with the delicate porcelain and the hand-painted roses. I'd been coveting it for years.

A giggle escaped me. I covered my mouth, suddenly self-conscious. I felt a spring in my step, my heart felt light, like the tea set I was to acquire.

This afternoon, I would go to the cottage, the anticipation building with every breath. I could already see the tea set sparkling on my dining table.
