Gemotions

The sound of children's laughter echoed through the house. Leo, fresh from a successful negotiation at work, found himself surrounded by his children, their faces alight with excitement. He'd promised them a picnic in the park, and the prospect of the day ahead filled him with a sense of… well-being. A small package sat on the entry table, addressed to a previous resident, Mrs. Gable.

He gathered up the picnic basket, humming a jaunty tune. His kids were excitedly yelling about the playground. He ignored the box, it wasn't his concern. He had to be quick before the children could run ahead.

He gathered his children. His heart felt light. He felt like he could float. The park was waiting.
