Gemotions

The melodic notes of the piano drifted through the apartment, filling every corner with sound. John, having just finished practicing a complex piece, felt an exhilarating buzz of accomplishment. A package was on the entrance table for the former occupant, “Mr. Harrison.”

He closed the piano, the sound still ringing in his ears. He was hungry and had a steak in the fridge. He could hardly wait. He grabbed his coat, whistling as he walked out the door, ready for the evening ahead.

The crisp air invigorated him. He felt… fantastic. He waved to the security guard, his mind already on the juicy steak awaiting him.
