Gemotions

The news felt like a warm hug. It was strange. Sarah reread the email, a small grin spreading across her face. "Thank you for the submission. Unfortunately..." The usual dance of polite rejection. But she didn't feel disappointed.

She closed her laptop and leaned back in her chair. The walls of her small study seemed to shimmer with a new light. She decided to take a walk.

Outside, the world was alive with color and sound. Everything seemed vibrant, more alive. She smiled at everyone she passed, and people smiled back. The scent of flowers filled the air. She felt as though she could fly.
