"Finally!" Mark whooped, holding up his acceptance letter to the culinary school of his dreams. He was cleaning out the garage with his Uncle Ben.

Hidden amongst some old tools was a folder with his late grandfather's name on it. He opened it and found the draft resignation letter. His grandfather had quit his job to open a restaurant.

Mark's laughter echoed in the garage. His heart beat fast. It was like a meeting of the minds across the veil of time, a shared calling. He looked at the letter again and felt invigorated. He knew he'd make his grandfather proud.
