She saw the listing and practically leaped from her couch. The familiar address, the colonial style, the overgrown oak tree in the front yard – it was her home! A wide smile stretched across her lips, and she clicked with eager anticipation.

The pictures displayed the interior. The old wallpaper in her bedroom, the dent in the dining room table from her brother’s childhood temper tantrums. She laughed softly, the sound like wind chimes.

“Oh, wow,” she mouthed to herself, a flush warming her cheeks. She felt a lightness in her limbs, a desire to dance. It was all still there, the essence of her youth, waiting to be rediscovered.
