Gemotions

The scent of lavender and the soft glow of candlelight filled Eleanor's bedroom as she prepared for a relaxing evening at home. She had just finished a particularly long phone call with her best friend, who was finally getting her dream job. She was feeling expansive and full of light.

She reached for her husband, Charles's mail, and started to sort through the papers. She saw a statement from a bank. She didn't mean to pry, but her curiosity took over.

A gasp escaped her lips. A wide smile formed. She felt as though she might explode with happiness. It was the most wonderful surprise.
